An emerging health Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Paradise Health Mission International has registered 100 needy persons under the National Insurance Scheme.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of the NGO, Mr. Isaac Gyamfi, his organization identified that some persons at Agona-Asamang in the Sekyere South District are very deprived and as such were unable to access basic healthcare. He believes organizing a free health insurance registration and renewal for 100 selected needy persons in the area will help reduce the challenges they go through.
The registration process which received massive support from the health insurance directorate in the area especially from Mr. Attack Mensah, the Manager of Effiduase Health insurance Office, sekyere East was well received by the people in the area.
According to Mr. Gyamfi, this initiative is as part of Paradise Mission International’s efforts in playing a critical role in addressing the health needs of Ghanaians. He says organizing the free health screening is the first of many health related intervention projects and activities his organization is embarking on.
Mr. Isaac Gyamfi says they seek to expand their reach to cover more needy people. He is therefore calling on philanthropists and various groups to join him in order to provide access to healthcare to more Ghanaians.
Paradise Health Mission International (Pheminternational) seeks to reach out to individuals, groups and organizations in less privileged communities with comprehensive health programmes.
