Ashanti regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party; Akwasi Kyei has been assessing the year 2017 with rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi and he concludes the year has been a good one for the government.
Mr. Kyei explained that within the year, the government has achieved a great deal including the implementation of the free SHS policy, restoration of nursing trainee allowances among other priorities the government set for itself. “This is the first government to appoint its functionaries in record time”. “We have laid a solid foundation for greater things to come”, he explained.
He stressed that the government has a 4-year mandate and hence Ghanaians should exercise patience. “Rome was not built in a day”, he explained.
He called for prayers for the government to enable her deliver to the satisfaction of Ghanaians.
The NPP dislodged the John Mahama-led NDC government in December last year with promises that appealed to Ghanaians. One year down the line, several Ghanaians are complaining about occurrences prominent among them being the difficult economy. The NPP government however continues to stress her determination and focus on priority areas that will soon bring relief to the people of Ghana.
