Residents of Somanya catching a glimpse of the crime scene
Residents of Somanya in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern region are still in shock after a 25 year-old mother killed her 5 year-old son for reasons yet to be known to rawgist.com.
The woman known to us as Rita Wednesday morning led her family to an abandoned borehole at Ogome; a surburb of Somanya where she had drowned Joseph; her 5 year-old son.
An announcement was made three days ago by the mother seeking help in order to find the missing boy.
Family sources however say a pastor revealed to the family that the mother of the deceased was responsible for the disappearance of her son.
True to the Pastor’s word, Rita led the family to the said borehole after she was asked by the family where indeed the body of the deceased child was found floating on the water.
Many rushed to the scene to catch a glimpse of the sorry sight.
Meanwhile, the Police in Somanya have picked Rita for further investigation.
