Ghana Education News-Asunafo South District through Dream for all Foundation (DFAF), Abroad Scholarship programme has announced the award of $87,384.76 scholarships to five exceptional students in the district to study in China.
Mr. Moses Antwi, Founder/CEO of Dream for All Foundation (DFAF) and Dean of the Asunafo South Abroad Scholarship Programme says the increase in their funds allows them to expand their help to more students than ever before.
He explains that the scholarship programme is committed to investing in Ghana’s future leaders.
He noted that, the five 2018 scholarship winners include four postgraduate students; Asomani Hilda Ama, Antwi Moses, Abbotsi-Dogbey Manuela, Anokye Michael, and one Doctoral degree student; Anning Cosmos, all attending Shandong University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Appau Mensah Abrampah, Board Chairman of Dream for all foundation (DFAF) commended the five outstanding students on behalf of the foundation and everyone who contributed to the scholarship fund this year.
He was grateful that the fund is receiving support beyond its membership.
The Asunafo South Abroad Scholarship programme was established for university students who have plans of pursuing either Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Doctoral degree outside Ghana.
He disclosed that, the scholarship winners are chosen from applicants that are full-time graduate and undergraduate students majoring in Engineering, Science, Computer, IT, Finance, MBA, Economics, Mining, Mechatronic, Mineral, Transportation.
The Asunafo South District through Dream for all foundation, DFAF, established its Abroad scholarship dubbed Asunafo South Abroad Scholarship Programme which was founded in 2017 by Moses Antwi, the founder/CEO of DFAF, to encourage promising young students and enable them fulfill their dreams of entering universities abroad with full scholarships.
What began so many years ago as a dream of assisting students with educational expenses has become a tradition of giving, the foundation has granted scholarships to a number of students to help them with their educational goals.
