A US judge has ruled that a court case over a sex tape can go ahead against rapper 50 Cent, despite his bankruptcy filing.
A New York jury awarded Lastonia Leviston $5m (£3.2m) last week.
It ruled that the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, didn’t have her permission when he posted a sexually explicit video she made with her boyfriend online.
The jury had been due to consider damages last Monday.
But 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy that day in Connecticut, temporarily delaying Leviston’s court case.

Her lawyer alleged that the rapper had filed for bankruptcy to avoid testifying.
Leviston’s lawyer, Philip Freidin, told The Hartford Courant that he was pleased the New York case would be continuing on Monday.
Last week the rapper’s creditors were revealed after he filed for bankruptcy.
Among his debts are an electric bill for his mansion of $5,649 (£3,620), $137,880 (£88,400) for a lease on a Bentley, $1,737 (£1,113) owed to his grandfather in expenses and $18.4m (£11.8m) owed as part of an arbitration award to Sleek Audio.
In total he owes $28.5m (£18.2m) and says he has assets of $24.5m (£15.7m).
Forbes estimated that 50 Cent was worth about $155m (£99m) in May, largely because of the profit he made when Vitaminwater was sold to Coca-Cola in 2007.
Jackson was an investor in that company.
50 Cent played live in London on Friday and announced a three-date tour of the UK in November.
