Seven coaches, all of them foreigners, have so far applied to coach senior national team, the Black Stars.
Leading the pack is Serbian, Milovan Rajevac who is not new to Ghana. He coached the Stars from 2008 to 2010 with a World Cup quarter final feat with the Black Stars in South Africa.
The others are Swiss, Michel Pont, an assistant of Ottmar Hitzfeld the coach of the Swiss national team since 2008.
Portuguese, Jose Alberto Barosso, coach of the reserve side of Sporting Braga in Portugal, English Boby Davidson, currently the youth team coach at Crystal Palace and assistant manager of the England national under-19 football team and Zavisa Milosavlejevic, Serbian football manager who currently manages FC Dordoi Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan.
