Talk of your own successes and people may tag it as bragging but the truth remains that, no one can better talk of your story than yourself and that is exactly what the biggest selling Ghanaian comedy actor at the moment Kwadjo Nkansah Lilwin has done.
In a special interview with Benjamin Yamoah on the holiday edition of Daybreak on Kapital Radio in Kumasi, the actor narrated his humble beginnings and thanked God for how far he has brought him.
God has been gracious to me and made me a big boy now because when I think of my beginnings as a cobbler walking the streets of Kumasi, Bogoso, Prestea, Sunyani and later following several movie producers on their scouting for locations just to be cast in one of their movies, all I can say is to thank God.
“Speaking on rumours that he had been given huge sums of money from his advertisements for great brands such Coca Cola and MTN, Lilwin disclosed although he made quite an amount from the deals he did not really consider the monetory aspect as he believed his association those brands could open bigger and greater chances for him in the near future.”
He humoruously stated; “Even if they had not called me, I would have rushed to them to cast me for an advert for them, hehehe.”
Lilwin is currently one of the most sought after Ghanaian actors for most producers based in the Ashanti region and has starred in over 50 movies.
