The maiden edition of the FASHION ICON AWARDS is today, 6th of September, 2014, at the plush La Palm Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana. Red carpet starts with the feisty SELLY of the BBA-The Chase at exactly 6pm.
Organizers have promised that the event is going to be an amazing fusion of the best of music, comedy and fashion like never before.
The night will see igniting performances from Wiyaala Noella, Irene Logan, Sala, Chemphe, among others.
The brand ambassador for the event, the award winning international super model-Victoria Michaels will be leading top dignitaries to grace the event, with the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare leading the pack, she is expected to do the official unveiling of the awards plaques.
There will be a fashion parade with the likes of Allan David Collection, House of Eccentric and Mina Evans, all showing their best.
Screen goddess- ChrisKata and her fellow hype man- Merqury Quaye from Sound City Ghana will handle proceedings all night long.
The event would be broadcasted live by Channel 5 TV network on Multi TV Cable, Spice TV, and Channel 192 on DSTV.
The night promises to be celebration of pride when it comes to those who have given their all to see that the Ghanaian fashion industry maintain its richness.
