NDC Media monitors within the Ashanti region say they feel motivated by the continuous donations made by Deputy National NADMO Coordinator; Joseph Yammin.
The former Deputy Ashanti regional Minister has for several years donated livestock and/or food stuff to Islamic members of the “Serial callers” Association before and after their annual Ramadan. He also donates to the christians during Christmas.
Chairman of the Ashanti regional Media Monitors Association, Abdul Latif Abdullahi (Julius Aghahowa) who spoke to rawgist.com after the most recent of such donations to the Association by Joseph Yammin asked for God’s blessings upon the Deputy NADMO Coordinator. He recounted how Joseph Yammin has been with them through thick and thin and asked other politicians within the NDC party to take a cue from Mr. Yammin’s gesture.
“There are many people in our party who are better placed than Hon. Yammin but who refuse to extend any help whatsoever to our young association. We want to use this opportunity to seek Allah’s blessing for Hon. Yammin and ask those who are well placed within the party to come to our aid and motivate us so that we know that we are not working in vain”, Abdul Latif Abdullahi told rawgist.com.
He believes NDC serial callers are a rather integral part of the machinery that will win President Mahama the much touted one million votes in the Ashanti region and hence the need to motivate members.
Joseph Yammin Monday donated five bags of rice and two cartons of cooking oil to nourish Muslim members of the NDC media Monitors Association in the Ashanti region during their 30-day fasting.
In an interview, Hon. Yammin who would not talk much stated that it is an annual ritual he performs no matter where he is or what condition he finds himself in and believes that Allah is blessing him through the singular act of giving.
