Former Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Amenfi West Constituency in the western region, Hon.Alhaji Abdallah Topoh has noted that the NDC as a political party in the constituency has become stale due to power struggle amongst political heads of the party in the constituency.
According to him the party cannot boast of any achievements in the constituency due to lack of unity among its members.
‘‘Since we came to power, I can tell you point blank, that the party cannot boast of anything as its achievement’’, he noted.
He was speaking in an interview with Sir Richmond Antwi Boasiako on Royal FM’s morning show.
According to him the constituency had the opportunity to benefit a lot during the administration of the late Professor John E.A Mills since the constituency was dear to the late President.
He noted that sometimes those with enough knowledge to help the party are sidelined with the excuse of their low level of education.
He advised Chiefs and opinion leaders in the constituency to stop dabbling in the partisan politics of the area.
