The Chief Executive Officer,(CEO) for MTN-Ghana, Mr Ebenezer Twum Asante has revealed Asanteman; seat of the golden stool, remains its choicest market for business.
He stressed the warmth of the people and the cultural settings in the Kingdom ensures the growth and development of good business.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper at the sidelines of the annual Otumfuo Gold Cup Tournament in Kumasi, which incidentally fell on the 66th birthday of the Asantehene , Otumfuo Osei Tutu II last Friday, Mr Twum Asante praised the value system of the Ashanti Kingdom.
According to him, he realized during his early days the Kingdom had a unique kind of value system, explaining the system was woven around the humaneness of its Kings who ruled and welcomed outsiders with open arms.
No wonder, the CEO stressed MTN continues to benefit from this enviable system as its products and services are happily patronized by the people living in the region.
He mentioned the Kingdom embraces excellence and hard work, noting MTN also embraces same as the company’s value system.
To grow this relationship, Mr Twum Asante noted the christening of the much publicized Ashanti-Fest program whereby a whole month is dedicated by MTN to share with its numerous customers new products, services and projects it has for Asanteman and its residents.
He promised to continually flood the Ashanti Kingdom with goodies ranging from new programs, projects and services as the festival starts this month with the Otumfuo Gold Cup tournament which commenced last Friday with both professional and amateur golfers participating.
The CEO emphasized the Ashanti-Fest was a way of showing proper appreciation to the people of the Kingdom for their continuous support and patronage of MTN products.
Haven worked in the region previously, the CEO said he was often times blown away by the sense of dedication and commitment to duty by natives and residents of the Kingdom.
This, he disclosed endeared him to the people and colleagues at the workplace as everyone worked with utmost dedication.
