Chairman of the Bantama Constituency of the Peoples’ National Convention (PNC) has showered praises on the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the area; Francis Asenso Boakye.
Mr. Cyril Spio Quansah in an interview with rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi said “…I see Bantama constituency reclaiming her lost glory with people like Asenso Boakye”.
He explained that the Deputy Chief of staff has proven to be a unifier for the entire constituency, bringing all stakeholders on board and discussing ways of bringing progress to the constituents.
“As a son of BANTAMA, we are always excited to see young people like Asenso Boakye and kwabena Ampofo Appiah; CEO of the State Housing Company, all doing well in their respective positions” he said.
During the NPP’s Parliamentary Primaries, Deputy Chief of Staff Francis Asenso Boakye took down the incumbent MP; Daniel Okyem Aboagye at Bantama in a heated race which ended in a landslide for Asenso Boakye.
Previously, residents of the Bantama constituency complained that other MPs focused only on strong members of the NPP whenever there were opportunities.
The PNC Chair is however happy that even before ascending the parliamentary seat, Francis Asenso Boakye has opened his doors to all residents of the area irrespective of political leaning.
He says though he is not a member of the NPP, he believes deeply that such conduct is worthy of praise and should be emulated by all leaders.
