Ghana Politics News-Aspiring Ashanti Regional NDC Chairman; Joseph Yammin has vowed to secure victory for the NDC in election 2020 when he is made chairman.
He spoke to Bernard Buachi of rawgist.com on the sidelines of his vetting earlier this week at the NDC’s regional office in Kumasi.
He explained that he made a similar promise in 2012 and delivered but could not deliver on his promise to deliver a million votes and 10 parliamentary seats for the NDC in the Ashanti region because he was not in charge of the campaign.
He assures that with him at the helm of affairs as the Regional NDC Chairman, the NDC is assured of Victory in 2020.
He praised the vetting and balloting processes as being fair and hoped that the campaigns will be clean so that “we can all work together after the election to bring victory to the NDC”.
He emphasized that he picked the 4th position on the ballot sheet and urged the delegates to remember that as the campaigns intensify.
