One District, One Information Van! This is one of the promises the Running mate of the New Patriotic Party is selling as the nation approaches election 2020.
This was revealed when the National Director of the Information Services Department visited the Bono East region for a day’s visit. During the visit, Mr. Charles Wireko visited the regional Coordinating Council and met with the regional minister.
The Bono East Regional Minister; Hon. Kofi Amoakohene during the meeting disclosed that 1 District, 1 Information Van is an initiative that is dear to the heart of the Vice President; Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He believes this initiative will help make the Information Services Department more effective in the discharge of their duty.
Mr Charles Wireko praised the initiative and went on to discuss some challenges the Information Services Department is facing. He outlined challenges like office accommodation, lack of logistics especially van, among many others.
