Dr Da-costa Aboagye, NHIA CEO stands close to Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, Okyenhene at the latter’s Palace
Be Courageous, Bring Positive Change To NHIA—Okyenhene Charges Dr Dacosta Aboagye.
Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin has charged the NHIA CEO, Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye to be courageous and affect positive change as he takes on the mantle of duty as the Authority’s head.
Osagyefo bemoaned how poverty has engulfed a rich country like Ghana despite the abundance of natural resources and encouraged the new Chief Executive to use his office to provide equal opportunities for the poor living in rural areas.
He said this when Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye, his deputy in charge of finance and investment, directors, and other staff from the head office and regional office, paid a courtesy call to him at his Palace in Kyebi.
NHIA CEO:
Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye seized the opportunity to inform the Chief and his Elders on his plans to strengthen the Scheme.
He noted that his vision is to make the NHIS more attractive and sustainable in the future.
He therefore asked for counsel and support to help him achieve this vision.
“Okyenhene, my vision is to make the NHIS more attractive and sustainable going into the future and therefore i would need your wise counsel and support to me achieve this vision”, CEO appealed.

Later on in the day, the NHIA Team went on to inspect an ongoing building project in Suhum.
The facility will house the NHIS District office when completed.
