Ghanaians have been urged to embrace godliness by investing in their spiritual growth and contributing towards the socio-economic development of the country.
Speaking at the climax of a week-long prayer and teaching festival to mark the 80th anniversary of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, Pastor S.B. Aboagye, Head of the Asankrangwa area of the church, told congregants to eschew rancor and bitterness and stand out to defend the gospel.
Themed: “Celebrating Christ-Our consistent companion”, congregants from Enchi, Tarkwa and all surrounding towns converged at the Anyane Boadum III park at the Wassa Amenfi West District capital to thank God for sustaining the Apostolic Church-Ghana for the past 80years, and making His saving grace available to all Christians.
Quoting from Philippians 1:6, Pastor S.B. Aboagye said being steadfast in belief and service of God coupled with diligence and hardwork is the surest way of to promoting peaceful cohesion and enhancing church and national growth. “Those who have been put in places of authority must adopt human-centered management practices and good human relations in order to achieve maximum productivity”, He added.
Established in 1985, the Apostolic Church-Ghana has over 800 branches and specializes in effective evangelism, strengthening local branches and training many ministers of the gospel towards boosting Christianity.
