Residents of Bibiani New Compound a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality have warned Electricity distributor; PDS of imminent violence if they are not 
reconnected to the national grid immediately.
The residents were disconnected some three to four months ago for alleged illegal connections.
The people are however furious and say they are being treated unfairly. Most of them deny that they have illegally tapped electricity.
Assembly man for the area; Kofi Ankamah “Rubber man” fears a repeat of the violence that erupted between the PDS and the people of Yilo Krobo.
Some of the residents who recounted their side of the story say they were disconnected in their absence when they have not tapped electricity illegally as far as their understanding goes.
This led to a confrontation with some of the residents. Some say they were arrested in the course of the confrontations and fined by the company.
They appealed to the PDS to reconnect them since they are suffering in the absence of electricity.
