The Black Princesses of Ghana will face Cameroon in the final round of qualifiers for France 2018.
Ghana progressed to this stage after defeating Kenya 10-1 on aggregate. The Black Princesses beat the East Africans 5-0 in Cape Coast before completing the double with a 5-1 thumping of the East Africans in Nairobi.
The 2016 World Cup campaigners had earlier beaten Algeria 10-0 on aggregate to reach this stage. Following their group stage exit in Papua New Guinea, the Princesses are poised to reach France 2018.
But before that, they have to beat Cameroon for make it to the mundial. And Coach Yusif Basigi says the team is prepared for Cameroon.
“We are determined to qualify for the World Cup now we go back to prepare for Cameroon. We enjoyed our two-day stay here although the pitch wasn’t in a good condition,” Ghana coach Yussuf Basigi said after beating Kenya.
Meanwhile, Cameroon got to this stage after Sierra Leone opted out of the qualifiers in the second round. Befor that the Cetral Africans had beaten Guinea to reach the second round.
