Ghana’s 2014 World Cup squad will play a friendly against the best players in the local league before they depart for their training tour ahead of their participation in the 2014 World Cup.
The match which will be a farewell game for the Black Stars is meant to boost home support for the team as they embark on the journey to the tournament in Brazil in June.
The match will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday 23 May and will kick off at 6pm to allow the working class and families to bring the kids to the match.
The local league players will be selected by football fans who will be given the opportunity to select their favourite players from the Premier, Division One and Two to play against the Black Stars.
