DCOP (Rtd) Djan-Kyere
Immediate past Bono East Police Commander; DCOP Mr. Djan-kyere has appealed for a beefing up of the police workforce in the Bono East region. He is convinced this will help the police put down the soaring crime situation in the region.
He told rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi that he has been successful in bringing down crime in the region and have arrested some of the most important criminals in the area; a feat he is very proud of.
He says the police have outlined important measures to further deal with crime but explained that the strategies will require extra men to execute.
DCOP Mr. Djan-kyere who is the first Commander of the Bono East Police Command was speaking in an interview on during his send-off party held at the Bono East capital; Techiman.
He expressed gratitude for the support he has enjoyed from various stakeholders during his years in service especially to the people of the Bono East region.
The event saw some heavy weights in the region converging to say their goodbyes to a man who many believe have held his office with distinction.
DCOP Mr. Djan-kyere was grateful for the relationships and cooperation he has enjoyed in office
