A group calling itself the “Youth for Tain Constituency” has called on Ghanaians to vote out President John Mahama and vote in the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as the country approaches another general elections.
In a statement, the group outlined several reasons why President Mahama in their opinion should be booted out to make way for the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
They contend that Ghana under John Agyekum Kufour’s NPP government was among the world lucrative economies; a situation they say is no longer the case.
According to the group’s statement, “… banks were chasing customers at homes to give them loans before 2009 but are now running away from given same loans to it’s inhabitants just after a period of seven years the NPP left office,a country where world bigwigs businessmen and women were investing are now running away from investing,a country where business was growing at a higher rate is now declining at the highest rate, businesses collapsing which is also making the labour force reducing at a higher pace, a nation where people were afraid to embezzle or steal from national purse is now experiencing day light robbery and even calling on people to witness the pilfering , currently. there is massive debt on the neck of the average Ghanaian which is gradually taking Ghana back to HIPC, cedi depreciated in the world market, dollar rising over 300% in just seven years of his government, massive corruption where Mahama has been rated as the 8th out of ten world corrupt leaders according to an OMG investigated report, national service brouhaha where government is finding it difficult to even prosecute the offenders, NHIS the backbone of Ghana health system is dying, arrogance being the order of the day”.

YOUTH FOR TAIN CONSTITUENCY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WHY JOHN MAHAMA DRAMANI SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE TO LEAD GHANA AGAIN.
The Mahama government has been a wahala and a total disgrace to this nation. As a pressure group, we are of the view that President John Dramani Mahama led NDC government should not be given the second chance to lead Ghana again if only we want better developmental policies.
We the, “Youth for Tain constituency” have witnessed the Mahama administration over some periods now and we think it is time we come out clear to display our displeasure. The wise will say” A stump that will hurt your eyes must be uprooted but not to cut it short”
From our observations, we have noticed that the Ghana we knew elsewhere in the John Agyekum Kuffour administration from the NPP is not the Ghana we see today. Ghana under NPP in kuffour administration was among the world lucrative economies but what do we see today? A country where banks were chasing customers at homes to give them loans before 2009 is now running away from given same loans to it’s inhabitants just after a period of seven years the NPP left office,a country where world bigwigs businessmen and women were investing are now raning away from investing,a country where business was growing at a higher rate is now declining at the highest rate, businesses collapsing which is also making the labour force reducing at a higher pace, a nation where people were afraid to embezzle or steal from national purse is now experiencing day light robbery and even calling on people to witness the pilfering , currently. there is massive debt on the neck of the average Ghanaian which is gradually taken Ghana back to HIPC, cedi depreciated in the world market, dollar rising over 300% in just seven years of his government, massive corruption where Mahama has been rated as the 8th out of ten world corrupt leaders according to an OMG investigated report, national service brouhaha where government is finding it difficult to even prosecute the offenders, NHIS the backbone of Ghana health system is dying, arrogance being the order of the day.
We therefore call on all the good citizens of Ghana to join forces with the youth of TAIN constituency to drive the non-performing NDC government out and replaces it with a performed and would- be performing government, that is the NPP. Ghanaians must start to think of the future and the political party that can relinquish the dreams of the masses of the nation is the NPP and we believe in no other person than Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo- Addo. He is humble, and selfless servant who had served this nation with total commitment, selfless leadership and has the passion and desire to work for you and I.
As Ghanaians we must know that our fight for today is our fight for tomorrow or the future- a future where will not have course to blame ourselves for not acting responsibly,a future where your children and my children will not suffer, a future where the less privileged and most vulnerable in our society will not have no grounds to blame each other, a future where access to common portable water will be for all, a future where dumsor will be a thing of the past but not just mouth say, a future where access to job opportunities will not be on whom u know bases, a future where the disabled and the physically challenged will beat their chest and say yes we are proud as Ghanaians they are not discriminated upon irrespective of their religjoys denomination or political affiliation, a future where government officials will not loot state funds to build ambitious fuel filling stations and mansions because of their common selfish interest, a future where those found guilty of abuse of power, conflict of interest and misappropriation of government fund would be brought to book,a future where people will not be sabotaged for speaking the truth, a future where massive unemployment will be a thing of the past, a future where rigging of election and massaging of electoral figures will be a thing of the past. Finally, a future where all Ghanaians will have the will express their mind on the negative happenings in Ghana without turning your neck round to who is coming.
God bless Ghana.
God bless Tain constituency.
God bless us all
