China based Ghanaian gospel singer, instrumentalist, producer and song writer, Bro Philemon finally got the long awaited blue twitter verification badge and makes him the first Ghanaian gospel artiste to be verified in the world on the Facebook platform.
His account with Facebook now carries a ‘blue tick’ sign to show the authentic account of the gospel singer and distinguish it from parody accounts of Bro Philemon. Unlike Twitter, which has many Ghanaian celebrities figures verified on its platform, getting verified on Facebook is more difficult.
Facebook announced the launch of verified pages and profiles, which will make it easier for users to find official fan pages and accounts for top brands, celebrities, government officials and other public figures.
