Brong Ahafo Members of Parliament have failed their electorate

JOHN_OWUSU-AGYEMANBrong Ahafo Members of Parliament have really failed their electorate and as a result most people have vowed to rethink come the upcoming Parliamentary and Presidential Elections in 2016.

When bad happenings occurred that needed their services they were nowhere to be found to rescue their electorate.

This was made known by a renowned Lawyer in the Brong Ahafo Region who is also a former Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Agyemang.

The lawyer said from nowhere investment companies paying unrealistic interest rates have come to defraud many business oriented people including the ordinary and the MP’s who are representing the electorate have failed to act on the matter. He believes authorities looked on and shirked their responsibilities to the people while financial institutions run ponzi schemes in the area.

He said the MPs should have acted devoid of partisan politics to make sure the right thing is done by calling the leadership of the Bank of Ghana to the floor of the house or coming out with a press release or even meeting the executive on the matter but nothing like that happened.

He emphasized that “if any person can come and dupe us and go and our MPs can’t help then we have no representation in Ghana”

He was talking on a political show on Asta Fm in the Techiman Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned by the operator. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent.
