Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko has pled with Ghanaians to rally behind the President and grant him the peace of mind to solve the country’s energy crisis.
Bukom Banku who was speaking on Kumasi-based Fox FM said though he is also suffering the dumsor, he is unable to demonstrate nor encourage any demonstrations against the President because “the President is not killing the light”.
He says though he is a big celebrity as well and suffers direct consequences of the power crisis, he feels is bad to keep demonstrating against the President over the power crisis.
“My air-conditioner and other things spoil but I cannot demonstrate. Dabiaa demonstration is not fine. I am also a big celebration in the country but I will not demonstrate. Things will get better soon as the president has promised”, he said.
“When God cook there is no smoke so all the celebrations should stop what they are doing”, he advised.
He says as a friend to the President, he is confident in measures being taken by the President to resolve the power crisis. He also adds that he is not backing the President for any parochial interest but rather to give the President the needed peace to execute confidently what he believes is the best solution to the energy crisis.
