Businesses owners complain of low sales as students go on vacation

jubilee-mallBusiness operators around the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST are complaining of low patronage as students are on vacation.

According to them, they have consistently recorded low patronage of goods and services at the various centres around the university campus especially at the jubilee mall.

As stated by a lady (Belinda) who works with digital images, since students vacated, there have been low patronage of goods and services and they hope for improvement.

Most people have attributed the main problem to publicity. An interview conducted with one lady Claudia (customer service and marketing person), revealed that after the management leasing the spaces to operators and making advertisement for them, they can also in their own way proceed and embark on their own publicity drive to make their services known to the whole public without limiting their reach only to students on campus.
