Call your supporters to order-CVM leader punches NPP Youth leaders

The leader of the political pressure group, Concerned Voters Movement (CVM), Razak Kojo Opoku has called persons who are seeking to contest for the position of national youth organizer in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to appeal to their folk to desist from engaging in acts that are lawless and criminal in the country.

Rather than spending time on whatsapp groups to post their pictures and portraits, the CVM leader tasked these aspirants including their colleagues contesting for the Nasara coordinator position to talk to their members to use dialogue to channel their concerns to the government.

This, he said will spare the public from getting disenchanted with the President since these acts of hooliganism give a bad name to the NPP government.

In an interview with the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Mr Opoku slammed the NPP for failing to rein in their youthful elements from carrying out acts of vandalism.

‘’Rather than posting unnecessary pictures and messages to your members on various youth platforms use your influences and knowledge to calm your members down that violence is not the way to resolve matters’’, Mr Opoku stressed.

DISAPPOINTMENT:
According to the vociferous CVM leader, the continuous use of violence by youthful elements of the NPP as a way to get their grievances across will soon spell doom for the government.

Ghanaians, Mr Opoku noted are peace loving people and would not watch as the government they voted for allow violence as a way of life in the country.

He stressed the need for the NPP to seek for an early resolution of the ongoing canker of lawlessness in its youth ranks.

The failure of the NPP youth to heed to calls for the use of dialogue rather than violence will soon get the NPP in a bad state, Mr Opoku predicted.

‘’Once Ghanaians see that your youth are acting unruly and violent they will not vote for you again and you would have let a good president down by your own actions’’, the CVM leader posited.

PROPOSAL:
Proposing a solution for the NPP, the CVM leader tasked the Youth organizer hopefuls as well as their counterparts in the regional levels to design a day to day dialogue with its members so as to listen to them.

According to him, some of the concerns by these youth groups may be legitimate but the approach is faulty.

He noted the regular interaction by the party’s youth leaders with their folk will bring the issues to the fore and help resolve whatever challenges the groups may have at the local levels.

Mr Opoku also charged the leaders to continuously explain to their members the policies of the Nana Addo government so as to help them know the employment opportunities it intends to create for them.

‘’Explain to the youth that the one district one factory, the one village one dam and the Youth Employment modules are all avenues by government to create jobs for them’’, Mr Opoku educated.
