Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister Joseph Yammin has cautioned losing candidates in the various party executive elections to be careful what they say after losing so as not to give the opposition parties the ammunition they need to fight the NDC.
He sent the caution when rawgist.com approached him after he was blamed for causing the defeat of Ama Sarpomaa; a contestant for the Ashanti regional women’s organiser Position.
Ama Sarpomaa served as women’s organiser when Yammin was regional Secretary of the party.
She however lost to her deputy; Hajia Sardick with whom she contested fiercely with Ama Sarpomaa going down with 36 votes against Hajia Sardick’s 45 votes.
The Deputy regional minister insists he is surprised the woman blames him for her fall, emphasizing that he has no bones of contention with the woman.
Hon. Yammin who comes across as the no. 1 campaign strategist of the NDC in the Ashanti region believes such blame games are really not necessary and advises those who want to justify their loss to be careful what kind of information the put out since it might just come back to bite them.
