CCC Members Take Over Kumasi Streets With 40th Anniversary Evangelism Float

CCC Members Take Over Kumasi Streets With 40th Anniversary Evangelism Float.

The Resident Pastor, Elders and Members of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) on Saturday morning took over the streets of the Kumasi Metropolis with the Gospel of Christ.

Christened as the CCC@40 anniversary float, the Church used the activity to also invite people to the church’s upcoming 40th anniversary celebrations scheduled for the main Ayigya branch.

Founded on the solid principles of Christ Jesus and his great commission to all believers, CCC has held fast to these tenets of the Gospel since its establishment in April 1985.

CCC, a largely English Assembly, emphasises the importance of prayer, the word of God, and the act of living right at all times to its members.

Evangelism:
Starting from the church’s headquarters at Ayigya, scores of the Church members shared the Gospel of Christ with all manner of persons they met on the way.

Amidst brass band music and other sound sytem entertainment, the Pastors and Elders together with the members shared flyers of the church’s 40th anniversary celebrations with the people they met on the streets.

Storming through the main highway from KNUST roundabout, the members took the Top High through to the Anwomaso and Anloga junction routes.

Continuing, the members used the Amakom main stretch and branching off the Kumasi Sports Stadium road, the Church members, mostly youthful, ended the float at the Kumasi City Mall where the members shared the Gospel of Christ with shoppers and shop owners.

Resident Pastor:
Speaking to the media, Pastor Joshua Obeng, Resident Minister at CCC-Main, thanked God for guiding CCC to its 40th year.

He noted that the impact of the church has been almost tangible but added that everything CCC had achieved has been by the express working of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Joshua noted that as part of the church’s 40th anniversary celebrations, the Church decided to use the float to talk about Christ and to use same to invite the people of Kumasi to CCC to participate in the climax of the anniversary on the 20th of April.

“CCC, through the express working of the Holy Spirit, was founded by Reverend Ransford Obeng and the late Mrs Joyce Obeng and through their obedience many have come to know the Lord and so we are telling others what Christ can do for them when they decide to live for him”, Pastor Joshua stressed.
