Resident Pastor of the Atasemanso branch of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Reverend Samuel Aduama has asked the public especially the youth to make Christ the focus of the upcoming Easter festival.
Rather than attending to wayward behaviors and lifestyles, the youthful preacher admonished for reflective moment as the youth celebrates this year’s Easter.
Addressing a press conference last Monday on an ongoing Easter convention, which has been christened the Redemption Parade, Rev Aduama noted that the essence of Easter is to celebrate Christ for his sacrifice on Calvary’s cross as well as his eventual resurrection from the dead.
These two awesome happenings, Rev Aduama underscored should be the reason for everything one would do at Easter.
‘’Both the object and subject of the Easter festivity is Christ Jesus and him alone and it is important that we get it right by everything we do so as to show appreciation to the Lord of Life’’, the CCC Executive Pastor passionately stressed.
ADMONITION:
Reverend Aduama, who is a development coach, also urged the youth to live responsible lives, adding every wayward lifestyle they lead will have a toll on what they become in future.
Promiscuity, smoking and drinking parties, the Minister of the Gospel mentioned are not things that cannot be fulfilling to the soul.
He noted that it is appointed unto men to die one day and after death judgment has been fixed by God for all to account for what they did with their lives once they were alive.
He therefore asked that the youth, particularly, use the upcoming Easter to reflect on the lives they have led so far and make the necessary changes if they have to so they can live fulfilling lives while they breathe.
‘’The perfect debt we can pay to Christ as youth and as a people is to show appreciation to him for his death is to shun evil and any semblance of same so we can live responsibly all our days’’, Rev Aduama stressed.
SPEAKERS:
Touching on the speakers who will be ministering at the ongoing convention, Rev Aduama mentioned Apostle Raymond Acquah, Preacher from Perez Chapel International (PCI)and Reverend Josh Obeng, Associate Pastor at CCC-main as guest speakers.
Describing the two guest speakers, Rev Aduama said both preachers possess deep insights into the word of the Living God.
Miracles, healings and the grace of God, the Asatemanso Head noted follows the ministry of the visiting preachers.
He therefore entreated all residents of Kumasi especially those living in the adjoining communities of Atasemanso to join the convention which starts every 6pm from Monday to Thursday, while the Good Friday service starts at 8am with the Sunday morning service marking the climax beginning at 8am.
