Founder and leader of the calvary Charismatic Center (CCC); Pastor Ransford Obeng has advised leaders in various fields to “learn to close their zip”.
He was addressing the media ahead of a three-day visit of Pastor Mensa Otabil to the CCC when a journalist asked him what he made of the trending video of the National Security Minister; Albert Kan-Dapaah. The video shows the minister in his pajamas having a video call with a supposed girlfriend.
Pastor Ransford Obeng, who did not go into the details of the video just advised that it is important that leaders including politicians, lecturers, Pastors etc learn to keep the zips on their trousers closed.
“If you are married, stay married and if you are single, live a single life until you marry” he stressed.
He explained that private life cannot be decoupled from public life. “Your private life as a leader will have effect on your public life. Whatever you are in secret, is what you become in public.”
When asked whether he thinks Kan Dapaah should be sacked, he said that what we need is a “high culture” and explained that in jurisdictions where they have high culture, no one has to advise you but instead you advise yourself in such cases. He stressed that it is important to set good examples for younger generations.
