A wise man once said ”Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds”.
In this 21st century many people in this part of our world are still thinking you need to look very dirty for someone to have sympathy on you and come to your aid to clean and cloth you. This is so pathetic. Hey African child, wake up from your slumber and stop thinking like your ancestors who only depended on aid and donor partners.The trend has changed and we need to understand that.
The youthful generations in other parts of the world are problem solvers but not cry babies.They identify problems, find solutions to the problems and develop business ideas out of these solutions.These ideas become their assets and they look for partners to implement these ideas. In doing so they’re solving problems,creating jobs and making good money for themselves and their respective countries.
My brothers and sisters,Africa is beyond aid.What we need is partnerships.Let’s be generational thinkers and problem solvers but not cry babies.We cannot leave all the job for our leaders to do.
We the youths also have a role to play to compliment the efforts of our leaders.
A wise man also once said ”who the cap fit, let them wear it”.
