The Ashanti regional chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress party (NDC); Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi has given the government two weeks to complete the ‘piece piece’ roads construction works within the Kumasi metropolis.
They intend embarking on a series of demonstrations against the government’s failure to complete roads under construction on schedule.
He was livid at the slow pace at which work on most roads within the Kumasi metropolis is moving.
He is, therefore advising the government to speed up work and complete work on all road networks within two weeks else he and his party supporters would embark on a demonstration to register displeasure against the government.
Mr. Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi was unhappy with the lazy work been carried out by core construction firms on the Tech to Anloga junction stretch.
”Why should it take the contractor so long to complete the work on schedule which is creating a lot of inconvenience for motorists and road users”, he quizzed.
