Some members of the Apostolic Church, Ghana in Somanya in the Yilo Krobo District of the Eastern Region have petitioned the national leadership of the church to interdict as well as remove the area Pastor, Apostle Enoch Tagba,over allegation of misconduct and autocratic tendencies.
The members calling themselves Concerned Members of the Apostolic Church, Somanya Central claim the area Apostle has kept them in the dark as far as the finances of the church is concerned.They’ve also accused Apostle Tagba of having an affair with a church member thereby bringing the name and image of the church into disrepute.
They therefore want the church’s national executives to immediately interdict him.
Martin Dodobi is the Spokesperson for Somanya area Development Committee, the Finance committee as well as concerned members of Apostolic Church Somanya Central.
Mr Dodobi tells live news they would disrupt church services next week Sunday if Apostle Tagba remains at post.
Meanwhile an executive member of the apostolic Church Ghana has confirmed to LIVE NEWS the receipt of the petition from the Somanya member’s .The member who pleaded anonymity says leadership is awaiting a response from Apostle Tagba to determine its next line of action.
