Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways; Kwabena Owusu Aduomi has encouraged all constituents within the Ejisu constituency to abide strictly by the directives put in place to forestall the spread of COVID-19 in Ghana.
He spoke to his constituents on the sidelines of donations he made to the Ejisu Municipal Health Directorate as well as taxi parks within his constituency.
Kwabena Owusu Aduomi who is also Member of Parliament for Ejisu donated a wide array of hygiene essentials including veronica buckets, tissues, sanitizers, mob, mob buckets, detergents and antiseptics.
He stressed the need for all to remain indoors as much as possible and also maintain the required social distancing directive to safeguard themselves and the community from recording the dreaded coronavirus infection.
He warned that the consequences of ignoring the directives will be dire if there are infections within the area.
He was proud that no case of COVID-19 has been recorded within his constituency and prayed it remained so.
He encouraged the poor to remain calm as the President has put in place measures to ensure they do not starve in their rooms. He also promised to consider more support to augment what the President will provide.
