CSU SRC Discusses Life After University With Students
As part of empowering the student body and potential graduates at the Christian Service University (CSU), the Executives of the Students Representative Council on Friday put together a lecture about life after the completion of school.
The lecture-themed, “Beyond The Degree”, was aimed at educating students and the public on the essential skills required for success in life after university.
Participants were urged to build personal brands while inculcating work and life as well as mental health in themselves.
The lecture was also structured to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of them after school.
Speakers:
Mr. Charles Boateng, CEO of Express Group who addressed the students as a guest, emphasized the importance of building connections and friendships with people from various backgrounds while in school.
He encouraged students to attend programs, seminars, and other activities that bring together experienced individuals and trainers.
This, he noted would help them in fostering opportunities for networking and personal growth.
Mr. Boateng also stressed the value of meeting public figures and developing a strong personal brand.
SRC Vice President:
The SRC Vice President, Ms. Lilly Boakye on her part encouraged fellow students to put into use the knowledge and skills they acquire in school.
She emphasized that knowledge and skills acquired during such seminars could shape them to build better brands for themselves in the future.
“The ‘Beyond The Degree’ program is a testament to the Christian Service University SRC’s commitment to empowering students with the tools and expertise necessary to succeed in an ever-evolving world”, the Vice President stated.
