A total of 13 candidates are aspiring for the Assembly member positions for both electoral areas.
Five candidates are contesting positions in Aboabo No.1 while eight candidates are also contesting those in Aboabo No.2 electoral area.

“The main challenges we are facing in this area are Sanitation and Security so we will elect an Assembly member who can improve the sanitation and security situations for us,” a resident stressed.
Although the inception of a watchdog committee has helped clamp down on criminal activities the residents want their operations intensified.
