The youth organiser emphasized that Napo’s appeal transcends traditional party lines, making him a candidate capable of securing additional votes from opponents and attracting floating voters.
Details:
The endorsement positions Napo as a strong contender for the role of running mate in the upcoming elections.
GO publishes the full statement by the US based NPP Youth Organiser in full beneath.
“Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh affectionately called “Napo” is the best person to partner H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. He is the best person to help pull votes for the NPP across the Ghana especially Ashanti Region.
Majority of the Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, Polling Station Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, and the party grassroots prefer Napo than anyone.
He has nurtured so many people in Ashanti region and across the country. The Chiefs in the Ashanti Region see him as their own. We should not underrate the influence of Ashanti chiefs in the region. He is the Godfather of the Youth.
He has empowered many party people across the Ghana and beyond. He has respect across the political divide. He can get the NPP additional votes from our opponents and appeals to floating voters. He knows the political game very well. He is selfless, accessible and serves the young and old in the party.
He is a powerhouse and the NDC nightmare. He is the Peoples Napo.
DMB-Napo 2024 ticket will make the NPPs win easier. It’s possible. We will definitely break the “8”.
