Dr. Eric Oduro Osae had his Secondary education at the Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon, for his “A” Level Certificate.
He later qualified as a Charted Accountant at the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS).
He then proceeded to the University of Cape -Coast for a Bachelor of Commerce (B com) Degree after which he proceeded to the University of Ghana for a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree before going to the Ghana School of Law for his Barrister at Law (BL) certificate which qualified him as a Lawyer and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
Dr. Osae graduated from the Ghana School of Law as the best Tax Lawyer during the 2007 call to the Ghana Bar. He continued to the University of London, for his Master of Laws (LLM) Degree, and then climaxed it with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree in Political Economy.
Since graduation, Dr. Osae has presented a number of papers at local and international conferences. He has over 80 publications and has served as the Head of Finance and Accounts at the Institute of Local Government Administration of the ILGS.
He has consulted widely on institutional governance and development, financial positioning and recapitalization for national and international governments. He is a Governance Expert and has consulted for UNDP, KfW, World Bank, Governments of Ghana, Niger, Tanzania, Zambia, and Uganda on fiscal decentralization and Public Financial Management (PFM).
