Ghana Accident News-Driver of Nissan pick-up truck with registration number GT 8265-16 has been detained by Police after he knocked and killed 2 persons Sunday morning.
The two who were on a motor mike died on the spot when the vehicle branded with campaign information of NDC’s Alban Bagbin knocked them off.
The driver; Charles Owusu was on his way to Accra from the Central regional capital; Cape Coast.
The accident happened between Apam junction and Winneba roundabout along the Accra-Cape Coast highway.
The deceased, both males were thrown off the unregistered motorbike on which they rode.

Their bodies have been deposited at the morgue at the Trauma and Specialist hospital at Winneba in the Central region.
Charles Owusu has since been detained at the Winneba Police Station while the Nissan Hard body Pickup and the motorbike have been towed for testing and further investigation.
Fire officers from Winneba were called in to wash off a pool of blood from the highway.
