The late Ebony Reigns’ final funeral rites will be held at the Independence Square in Accra.
Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng known in showbiz as Ebony died on the spot on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway while returning to Accra after visiting her mother in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The Jeep SUV, in which she was travelling, crashed into a VIP bus near at a section of the highway where road construction was ongoing. Two others who were in the car – a friend and a soldier said to be her bodyguard –also died. Her driver however survived.
During the one week gathering after the death of the artiste, the family announced March 17 as the burial day but said they were yet to decide the venue for the funeral that is set to take over Accra.
