Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, has announced a new recruitment drive for teachers in Senior High Schools.
In a Facebook post on July 30, the minister revealed that the recruitment process will begin next week.
He encouraged prospective candidates to stay informed about the application details and specific areas of focus for this recruitment exercise.
“I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week.
“Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment,” he announced.
This is on the back of an announcement by the Ministry of Health for the recruitment of about 15,200 nurses and midwives, effective Monday, August 5, 2024.
The health ministry in its statement noted that it has received the necessary financial clearance for the process.
