District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Kwabre East District in the Ashanti Region; Nana Osei Bonsu, has charged Ghanaians especially parents and guardians to prioritize their wards’ education.
This, he believes will inure to the growth of the country as the country aspires for a Ghana Beyond Aid.
He says the economic transformation of Africa will not come through foreign aid but through our own natural resources like Cocoa, Diamond, Gold and Timber.
He believes a large chunk of the country’s poverty situation is due to corruption and constant borrowing. He therefore expressed confidence that the special Prosecutor will save the country from unbridled corruption.
Nana Osei Bonsu believes speeches alone won’t cut it and urged seriousness from the government, and all stakeholders.
He commended the government of the day on her discipline as far as managing the economy is concerned.
