High-flying songstress, Efya, will be the toast of discerning music lovers tomorrow, August 29, when she performs at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra on August 30.
The young lady has, in recent months, been showing her capabilities away from our shores and tomorrow’s gig will be a good chance for her fans and others to assess how far she has come.
The venue, known widely for supporting high-grade live music, is not new to Efya. She performs there occasionally and always leaves pleasant memories behind.
She is expected to perform some of her well-known pieces like ‘Best In Me’, ‘Cigarette’, ‘Sexy Sassy Wahala’ and ‘Little Things’ in addition to some new stuff she has come up with recently. Some guest performers will be on the show.
Saturday, August 30, will be the turn of Bessa Simons and his Bessa Band to offer some sweet highlife vibes. The experienced keyboard player and producer is master of a wide range of rhythms that often translates into the variety of sounds from his band.
Guest of the Bessa Band on the night will be A. B. Crentsil.
