Ghana News-The Member of Parliament for Asante Juaben constituency; Mrs. Ama Pomaa Boateng has urged 
delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to elect credible leaders for the party come Saturday.
The ruling NPP government is set to hold its 26th National Delegates Congress in Koforidua over the weekend.
The law maker says “our decision on Saturday may determine the fortunes of our great party” and therefore wants the delegates to make informed decisions that will reflect well on the party.
Speaking exclusively to Oyerepa News ahead of the Polls, she explained that winning power is easy but maintaining it needs visionary party leaders who appeal to the floating voters.
Again, the law maker used the medium to appeal to party functionaries to refrain from using unprintable and unsavory comments against other contenders.
“Our opponents may capitalize on any unsavory and palpable falsehood that may emanate from our camp during this our internal elections”, she cautioned.
Mrs. Pomaa entreated all aspirants to focus on what they can do best for the party than to belittle their contenders since, “we remain one big family at the end of the elections”.
