A 43 year old farmer has been murdered in Nakpanduri Township of the Bunkprugu/Yunyoo district in the Northern Region.
Withholding his identity, Police in the area confirmed that the deceased was murdered on his farmland.
Public Relations Officer of the Northern Regional Police Command, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh as usual told Citi News investigations were underway to unravel the mystery surrounding his death.
According to him, the unknown assailants absconded with two bullocks which the deceased used as his farm machinery.
ASP Ebenezer Tetteh said an autopsy was performed on the body which has been deposited at the Morgue of the Nalerigu Baptist Medical Centre.
Within a space of two weeks, two persons were killed in the area under bizarre circumstances.
