Ghana News-The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has officially written to the government of Ghana inviting them to their Headquarters in Zurich to discuss ways of solving the current Ghana football crisis.
FIFA sent a three-member delegation led by Veron Mosengo-Omba to hold talks with the government on ways to restructure Ghana Football.
The team who were in Ghana last week met with the Sports Minister, the Information Minister and other dignitaries and held successful talks.
All football activities have been halted in the country following the Anas expose which exposed the rot in Ghana Football.
The expose caused the resignation of the former President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, compelling government to take steps to dissolve GFA.
FIFA in their letter dated June 26, 2018, is inviting the Sports Minister and his delegation to Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday, June 28, 2018 for further delibrations on the issue.
FIFA indicated that the purpose of the meeting is to put in place interim measures to allow the continuation of football related activities in Ghana which has been put on hold.
