The Black Princesses narrowly defeated New Zealand by a goal to nothing to end their on-going FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup campaign in France.Â
A 75th minute solo header from Ruth Anima was all the Princesses needed to pick their first win as well as three points of the tournament.
The win means Ghana places third in group A, despite conceding eight goals with just a goal to savour in their previous two games.
To complete the double, Grace Asantewaa was adjudged player of the match as her excellence performance on the day won helped Ghana carry the day.
