The First Atlantic Bank has extended its operations to Abossey Okai in Accra with the opening of a new branch.
The bank’s board Chairperson, Madam Karen Tandoh, who chaired the function, expressed the hope that the branch would help reduce the increasingly sophisticated demands of the market.
“Abossey Okai is noted for being the most vibrant spare parts market in Accra, hence the need to send the banking services closer to them,” Madam Tandoh said.
She said the bank had opened four branches this year and added that the management of the bank planned to add two new branches before the end of the year.
The Executive Director of the bank, Mr Daniel Addo, explained that the bank was prepared to partner with traders and manufacturers, with the support of mobile banking MasterCard, loans and e-banking, to improve their businesses and also facilitate the movement of goods and services across the sub-region.
“As a three-time recipient of the Best Bank in Customer Care award at the annual banking awards, we can make our distinctive banking services available to you,” he assured.
Mr Addo said the bank, which was founded 20 years ago, had been very instrumental in the growth of many companies in Ghana.
The Executive Director added that the bank offered six different savings options and advised small and medium-scale entrepreneurs to cultivate the habit of savings.
