KNUST fitness trainer starts new health revolution

Godson-lampteyFitness trainer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Godson Lamptey has embarked on a mission to reduce attendance to the country’s health facilities through rigorous fitness education and training.

He tells rawgist.com “exercise is medicine”. He explains that he has never been to the hospital since he started his fitness career over twenty years ago.

“Look at me, I am approaching 50 but people believe I am 30.

Godson Lamptey, popularly called Mojo runs five gyms in and around the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and has established a name as one of the best fitness trainers in the whole of the Northern sector of Ghana.

He wants the youth especially the ladies to take up fitness training since according to him it eradicates a lot of health conditions and also gives an unprecedented level of confidence to participants. “The ladies in the gym are able to deliberately carve their bodies into various forms that heightens their self worth”, he tells rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi who visited one of his gyms at Ayeduase, near KNUST.

Mojo Health and fitness centre is embarking on a series of aerobic sessions as well as personal fitness training regimes for corporate clients to ensure people don’t diminish health-wise through their sedentary lifestyles.
