Newly enstooled chief for fawomanyo has promised to do all in his power to make the community an attractive one for his subjects.
Nana Kwadwo Tanoh II believes this will end the trend of migration to bigger towns and cities.
He was speaking during his well attended inauguration ceremony at Fawomanyo in the Upper Denkyira East District.
“Soon, your children will be able to attend school from kindergarten to the Senior high school without stepping out of this community”, he said amidst cheers.
He further promised a community centre to cater for the recreational needs of the people as well as a health facility .
“I know we are mainly farmers, but these days, our crops fail due to the unpredictable weather, very soon, we will have other jobs to do so that we don’t suffer excessively if the rains fail us”, he told the cheering crowd.
He prayed for unity and the blessings of God upon the land.
